A unique approach to learning

Since 1992, SCORE! Educational Centers have been providing kids with a fun way to catch up, keep up, and get ahead in their studies. As part of the Kaplan family, SCORE! works with children in grades pre-K through 10th grade to help them achieve their goals and reach their academic potential in math, reading, spelling, and writing. Our programs include personal attention, positive reinforcement, and a customized curriculum that adapts to each child's pace and learning needs.

Our unique approach has led to incredible growth, and today SCORE! operates nearly 80 Centers in eight states and the District of Columbia.

But at the end of the day, what we're most proud of is that we've helped make a difference in the lives of more than 450,000 children, helping them to learn not just academic skills, but also to develop a lifelong love of learning.

SCORE! is widely recognized by local and international media as one of the nation's top tutoring service providers. SCORE!'s leaders have appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, and local television and radio stations throughout the country. History

The first SCORE! Center opened in Palo Alto, California, in September 1992 with a vision of helping children make academic progress in an engaging and motivating environment.

In 1996, SCORE! was acquired by Kaplan, Inc., the global education services provider and a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company.

As we continue to refine and optimize our Centers' success and excellence, we will build relationships with more schools in more communities, and open new Centers in regions throughout the country. The excitement at SCORE! continues to grow.
