SCORE! Educational Centers Promotes Justin Serrano to President

Chicago, January 12, 2006 — Chicago-headquartered SCORE! Educational Centers, Inc., a leading provider of after-school learning programs for children, has promoted Justin Serrano to President. Serrano, 33, is responsible for 18 SCORE! Centers in the Chicagoland area - from Beverly to Buffalo Grove - and another 151 throughout the United States. More than 3,500 kids in the Chicagoland area attend SCORE!. Serrano is responsible for all aspects of the SCORE! business, including the growth, expansion and performance of its educational centers nationwide. Serrano has worked for Kaplan for more than a decade, including serving as a Regional Director and most recently as Vice President of Graduate Programs at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Serrano graduated from Cornell University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts and he earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 2001.
